Newly released body camera footage shows that a man accused of sexually assaulting and robbing a woman earlier this month in Ogden had a gun in his hands when a police officer confronted him and fatally shot him soon after.

CEDAR CITY, Utah â A suspect in an assault investigation is in critical condition after he suffered several gunshot wounds as he attempted to flee from police in Iron County Sunday night.
According to the Critical Incident Task Force that serves Beaver, Garfield and Iron counties, Cedar City Police responded to a call about an assault in progress around 8 p.m.

• Jan 29, 2021 Carrizozo, NM - On Wednesday, January 20, 2021, agents with the New Mexico State Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit received information from the United States Marshals Service that two wanted violent fugitives were driving through New Mexico. The fugitives were identified as Tracy Brown, 57, and Diana Thomas, 47, both of Bismarck, Missouri. Brown was wanted for escape from the Iron County Jail in Ironton, Missouri and Thomas was wanted for weapons charges out of Missouri. The two were driving together in a black 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. ARVADA, Colo. Two inmates who escaped this month from a jail in southeast Missouri were arrested Sunday and Monday in the Denver metro area, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Dwight Abernathie, 36, and Samuel Gillam, 35, escaped Jan. 16 along with a third man, Tracy Brown, 57, from the Iron County Jail in Ironton, Missouri, according to the Iron County Sheriff s Office.
