AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - A 58-year-old man who was found injured in the parking lot of an Italian restaurant in Akron died, police said.
On March 15, employees at Parasson’s Italian Restaurant on Waterloo Road noticed an injured man in the parking lot leaning against the side of of a gray 2006 Saturn Vue.
EMS found the man bleeding from the left side of his face and arm. He was able to respond to paramedics, but seemed disoriented and couldn’t say what happened to him, police said.

A man was shot multiple times Saturday night before he died in the hospital.
Jamaar J. Stevens, 28, of Akron was shot and killed, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner s Office.
Akron police said the shooting happened at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Trigonia Drive and South Rhodes Avenue, bordering the West Akron and Highland Square neighborhoods.
Officers arrived on the scene and found Stevens with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the street. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died at about 11:45 p.m.
Detectives determined the shooting happened after an altercation between Stevens and an unknown person. Police said the shooter fled in a silver SUV after the shooting.

Authorities ID shooting victim found dead in backyard of Akron home

William Little died of a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s office. No arrests have been made in the shooting.
Officers were called to the 800 block of Work Avenue, which is north of Copley Road and just west of West Exchange Street, at about 6:25 p.m. Little was found wounded in the backyard of a residence. He was taken to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center but died of his wounds, police say.
Investigators believe Little was involved in an argument with an unknown suspect before being shot. No additional details on the shooting have been released.
