BBK-owned consumer technology brand Vivo has reportedly filed a patent for a smartphone that will house a flying camera. The report suggests Vivo is the first OEM that aims to house a drone camera in the handset itself.
This was reported by Lets Go Digital who spotted that this patent was filed in December 2020 for Vivo Mobile Communication with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) and was only released now.
According to the report, Vivo plans to house an extra compartment in the smartphone to house a hidden camera system that contains two camera sensors, three infrared proximity sensors, four propellers and an extra battery.
