: Wednesday, June 9, 2021, 11:21 PM IST IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and IISc, Bengaluru, make it to top 200 in QS World University Rankings 2022 File Photo Three educational institutions of higher learning the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay), IIT Delhi and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru have made it to the top 200 in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2022. IISc, Bengaluru, which has been ranked the worldâs top research university, achieving a perfect score of 100/100 for this metric. As per the 18th edition of the QS World University Rankings 2022, IIT Bombay secured the 177th position followed by IIT Delhi at 185 and IISc Bengaluru at 186 in the overall university rankings globally. Though IIT Bombay dipped five places this year to 177 from its 2021 rank of 172, it is India s top-ranked institution for the fourth consecutive year at the QS World University Rankings.

IIT Guwahati Ranks 41 in Research Citations per Faculty: QS World University Rankings 2022 Apart from the 41st rank, IIT Guwahati has obtained the 395th rank in World University Ranking globally | 9 Jun 2021 3:18 PM GMT Guwahati: According to the QS World University Ranking 2022, the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) been ranked 41 in the Research Citations per Faculty category. Apart from the 41st rank, IIT Guwahati has obtained the 395th rank in World University Ranking globally. One of the premier Educational and Research Institutes in the country, IIT Guwahati has successfully cited its name amongst the top 50 institutes. an IIT Guwahati statement said that the main reason for the increase in rank from 470 in QS World University Ranking 2021 to 395th in 2022 s edition is the strong improvement in the Citations per Faculty category where IIT Guwahati has improved from 77.9 in 2021 (Global Rank 56) to 94.8 in 2022 (Global Rank 41).

Share Guwahati : Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, one of the premier educational and research institutes across the nation, has broken into the top 50 institutes and secured 41st rank globally (56th in 2021) in the ‘Research Citations per Faculty’ category, of the QS World University rankings 2022 announced today, 8th June 2021. Along with this, the Institute has gained rank 395 in World University Ranking globally. This marks a huge improvement of 75 places by the IIT Guwahati, which was ranked 470 in the 2021 edition of the QS World University rankings. The main reason for this increase is the strong improvement in the ‘Citations per Faculty’ category where IIT Guwahati has improved from 77.9 in the year 2021 (Global Rank 56) to 94.8 in 2022 (Global Rank 41).
