Protesters are blocking the intersection of Hennepin Avenue and Lake Street in Minneapolis' Uptown neighborhood, just a block away from where a man was shot and killed by law enforcement the day before.

A Georgia man who authorities say had faked his own death to avoid prosecution on attempted murder charges involving a hatchet attack on his girlfriend has finally been captured in Oklahoma after six years on the lam.
Christopher Tomberlin was arrested in Oklahoma City on Thursday by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and local police after a week-long joint investigation.
According to a press release from the Oklahoma City Police Department, Tomberlin was wanted on a warrant out of Bibb County, Georgia, in connection with a 2015 incident where he allegedly tried to murder his then-girlfriend by hurling a hatchet at her.
