IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Imperial County inching closer to the halfway point of COVID vaccinations according to the Imperial County Public Health Department (ICPHD).
Close to 150,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the valley so far. We are close to 150-thousand first and second doses. We’re looking at 42.9% fully vaccinated within the eligible group. Alotta work, a lotta progress has been made, says Imperial County Public Health Department Director Janette Angulo.
Fully vaccinated, meaning each person has received either one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, or two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.
