Source: United Kingdom London Metropolitan Police A police constable has been taken to hospital with injuries to his leg after being hit by a car in Camden during a vehicle stop. At approximately 22:25hrs on Thursday, 6 May officers on routine patrol became aware of a blue coloured BMW driving suspiciously as it travelled onto Netherwood Street near to the junction with Lowfield Road, NW6 and signalled for it to stop. Officers parked their vehicles to prevent the car driving off. The car then attempted to reverse away from officers. As it did so, a police officer who left his vehicle to approach the driver has become trapped between the car and a stationary police vehicle.

MIL-OSI Security: A man has died after being struck by a car in Newham

A man struck by a car during an altercation in Newham has died from his injuries. On Wednesday, 28 April, police responded to reports of eight males involved in an altercation on Butchers Road, E16, during which, a 50-year-old man was struck by a vehicle. The injured man was treated at scene before being taken to an east London hospital where his condition was critical. Despite receiving treatment throughout the week, he died from his injuries on Saturday, 1 May. Next of kin are aware and continue to be supported by specially-trained officers. Five males were arrested in connection with the incident and taken to an East London police station. They are currently released on bail pending further enquiries.

MIL-OSI Security: New appeal in connection with 2018 fatal stabbing

Source: United Kingdom London Metropolitan Police Detectives investigating the murder of a 26-year-old man in Hackney three years ago are offering a £20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for his murder. Yaya Mbye Sankareh was stabbed to death on the George Downing Estate in Stoke Newington at approximately 23:30hrs on 28 January 2018. Despite an extensive investigation by the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, the case remains unsolved and those responsible for Yaya’s death are yet to be brought to justice. Detective Chief Inspector Perry Benton, said: “We have not given up on our fight for justice and I believe this new reward offers an opportunity for those who haven’t come forward before to contact police.
