Two Rochester men have been charged with illegally possessing firearms after police responded to a report of someone waving a gun from a vehicle.
Rochester police were called about 7:15 p.m. Thursday to Essex Park Apartments for a report of a passenger in a vehicle waving a gun. An officer located a vehicle matching the description at the intersection of West River Parkway and 37th Street Northwest. When the officer drove past the vehicle, the rear passenger shrunk down into his seat, the criminal complaint states.

A Rochester man has been charged with murder after he allegedly sold or gave drugs to another man who then fatally overdosed.
Lam Mathaing Yieb, 23, is charged in Olmsted County District Court with third-degree murder-sell/give/distribute a controlled substance. Yieb was arrested Wednesday.
He made his first appearance in court on the charge Friday morning where Judge Christina Stevens set conditional bail at $150,000 and unconditional bail at $300,000. Yieb s next court appearance is scheduled for April 22.

(ABC 6 News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff s Office arrested a Rochester woman Wednesday who had drug-related warrants in both Wabasha and Olmsted County.
The sheriff s office began an investigation in February after receiving information from Wabasha County that it was looking for 34-year-old Marina Garza of Rochester who had a warrant for 5th-degree controlled substance crime.
About a week later, in early March, Captain Behrns said the Olmsted County District Court issued warrants for Garza for 1st-degree controlled substance sales, 2nd-degree controlled substance possession and introducing contraband into jail.
