Just more than four months after the mother of 38-year-old Brandon Arndt asked an Olmsted District Court judge for leniency for the 22-year-old charged in connection with her son s murder, the North Mankato, Minn., man asked to be sent to prison.
According to court records, Darien Klindworth-Woods requested on Jan. 15 to execute a stayed 46-month prison sentence. He is being held at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center without right to bail pending his move to state prison. He will receive credit for 374 days already served.

ROCHESTER, Minn. – A plea deal is reached over a $70 drug deal that lead to a man’s death.
Robert Bryant Salley Jr., 19 of Rochester, entered a guilty plea Friday to 2nd degree murder and possession of a firearm or ammunition after being convicted of a crime of violence.
Rochester police say Trevor Boysen was shot to death on January 10, 2020, in a parking lot in the 800 block of 21st Avenue SE. Investigators say Salley got into a vehicle with Boysen to buy some marijuana. There was a struggle where the gun went off. Court documents state Salley then shot at the vehicle as he walked away.
Dezutter, who has multiple previous convictions for child pornography, was on probation and as part of his condition of probation had a monitoring app placed on his cellphone. On Dec. 14, a woman was notified by the monitoring system that there were pornographic images on Dezutter s phone, according to the criminal complaint.
When interviewed by law enforcement, Dezutter told an investigator he relapsed and only looked at child pornography one time and it was an estimated less than 12 images. Law enforcement found at least seven of images of child pornography, the complaint states.
In September 2015, Dezutter was given a stay of imposition on four counts of possession of pornographic work. Less than two years later he was given prison sentences after he was convicted of another charge of possession of pornographic work.

Just over a year after police said a Rochester man fatally shot another man in the city s first homicide of 2020, the 19-year-old pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
Robert Bryant Salley, Jr., 19, pleaded guilty in Olmsted County District Court Friday morning to second-degree murder-without intent and possession ammo/any firearm as an adjudicated delinquent for crimes of violence in the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Trevor Boysen.
Boysen was shot and killed on Jan. 10, 2020, in the parking lot of The Quarters Apartment Complex, 832 21st Ave. SE. Rochester Police Capt. Casey Moilanen said in the days after the shooting that the incident leading up to the shooting appeared to have been a prearranged drug deal.
