Ogdensburg man brandishes knife at Walmart

Monday, May 24, 2021 - 1:21 pm OGDENSBURG - Harlow Perry, Jr., 44, Ogdensburg man was charged Sunday with second-degree robbery and fourth-degree criminal possession of weapon stemming from an incident at the Ogdensburg Walmart. On the afternoon of May 23 at about 2:30 p.m. the Ogdensburg Police Department responded to a report of a theft at Walmart, located at 3000 Ford Street Extension. While investigating the incident, it is alleged that Harlow brandished a knife when he was confronted about the theft by store employees. Witnesses provided information that ultimately led to the identification and arrest of Harlow. Perry was arraigned in Ogdensburg City Court and was remanded without bail to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.

(WWNY) - A father and son face charges in connection with a kidnapping scheme involving 2 Ogdensburg school children. City police arrested 51 year old William Larock and his 33 year old son, Michael Larock, both of 504 Canton Street in Ogdensburg. Police said the men targeted a family - threatening to kidnap 2 children if the family didn’t pay the Larocks an undisclosed sum of money. Lieutenant Mark Kearns of the Ogdensburg Police Department said the family and the Larocks know each other. He declined to comment on a motive.

(WWNY) - A traffic stop in St. Lawrence County ended with the arrests of 2 New York City men and the seizure of crack cocaine and $12,000 in cash. Ogdensburg Police Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit stopped a vehicle on Route 812 in the town of Oswegatchie last Friday. According to police, a K9 sniffed out drugs, leading authorities to find more than 8 ounces of crack cocaine and over $12,000 in cash inside the vehicle.
