A limited-run version of the BMW 8-Series dubbed the Heritage Edition has just been announced for the Australian market. The car is based on the 840i and will be available in Coupe, Gran Coupe, and Convertible guise. Just nine examples will be offered in Australia and each one will have a unique exterior paint and interior combination. The available exterior/interior options are BMW Individual Frozen Marina Bay Blue paint with Merino Black Full Leather, BMW Individual Black paint with Ivory White Merino Leather, and BMW Individual Frozen Dark Silver with Tartufo/Black Merino leather. Each of the nine 8-Series Heritage Edition models being sold locally come loaded with standard features including a BMW Head-Up Display, Driving Assistant Professional with Active Cruise Control with Stop and Go as well as Steering and Lane Control Assistant. There is also Active Park Distance Control, Reversing Assistant, and 3D view.
