The 42-year-old was the third child of the revered cleric. Dare died in his sleep on Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family.
RCCG spokesman, Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, confirmed the tragedy on Thursday morning.
“It is true,” Olubiyi said.
“The incident happened in Eket where he was based. I don’t have the details for now. Maybe before the end of today, we will issue a statement.” x
Dare, the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35, would have been 43 years old next month, June.
On his 42nd birthday, Pastor Adeboye described him as his first miracle child.

At least 14 persons have been killed by armed bandits in Yangalu community in Magama Local Government Area of Niger State.
DAILY POST gathered the bandits stormed the community on motorcycles and shot sporadically as people scampered in various directions.
Eyewitness accounts said the bandits destroyed properties including foodstuff of villagers before moving out of the community.
The source explained that the bandits invaded the community killing seven villages and destroyed their properties.
Reacting to the incident, the Chairman of Magama Local Government Council, Sufiyanu Yahaya, while commiserating with the people on the attack assured that steps will be taken to improve the security situation in the council.

President Muhammadu Buhari has extended deepest sympathies to the family of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), on the passing of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.
A statement issued by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) on Thursday said he also commiserated with members of the RCCG on the demise of the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35, urging them to find comfort in the teachings of the Holy Scriptures that those who have chosen to serve God faithfully will see Him as He is in eternity.

President of the Senate, Dr Ahmad Lawan, has condoled with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.
Lawan, in a condolence message on Thursday, also commiserated with the entire Adeboye family and members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God worldwide over the sudden death of one of their shepherds.
“I share their deep grief over the loss of a beloved son, husband, father and committed labourer in the Lord’s Vineyard. May God Almighty comfort the highly respected Pastor, his family and the entire members of his flock over this great loss and repose the soul of the deceased in eternal bliss,” the Senate President said.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commiserated with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, on the death of their son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.
Dare, who was 42 before his death on Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom was an Assistant Pastor in charge of Youths in Region 35 of RCCG.
Expressing his heartfelt sympathies, Sanwo-Olu issued a statement on Thursday through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Gboyega Akosile.
In the statement, the governor urged the family of the deceased, friends, associates and entire members of RCCG to take the death in good faith.
