Barley House Liquor License Revoked | Newsradio WTAM 1100

By Tom Moore Jan 28, 2021 (Cleveland) - A popular downtown restaurant and bar, Barley House on West 6th in the Warehouse District, has had its liquor license revoked by the Ohio Liquor Control Commission for numerous violations of state laws and health orders, many related to COVID-19. The straw that broke the camel s back, so to speak, was when state agents visited Barley House on November 14th. They saw over 100 patrons freely walking around, not socially distancing, and not wearing masks. Violations cited by the state went back to December 2019, when Barley House was cited for failure to keep the business in a sanitary condition.
