Motorcyclist dies in Brick crash on Burnt Tavern Road BRICK - A Point Pleasant man died Sunday after he was thrown from his motorcycle in a crash at Burnt Tavern Road and Spiral Drive, Brick Police said. Christos Michael, 59, of Point Pleasant was traveling southbound on Burnt Tavern Road around 2:25 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Robin Federbush, 49, of Brick pulled in front of him from Spiral Drive, according to a news release from police. The subsequent collision threw Michael from the motorcycle, which caused lower body and internal injuries, police said. He died at the scene. Traffic along Burnt Tavern Road was detoured for five hours while authorities investigated the crash.
