An Iowa City woman who was wanted on warrants for meth possession and distribution was arrested Sunday after a traffic stop.
Police say 23-year-old Orlanda Littlelight of Erobi Lane was stopped on South Scott Boulevard around 5:15pm because of the outstanding warrants. Her passenger allegedly had used paraphernalia on his person. After a K9 alerted to drugs in the vehicle, a subsequent search reportedly turned up two baggies consistent with methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana.
Littlelight was living on Century Street the morning of November 24
th when police executed a search warrant on her residence. Officers allegedly found her near a scale and baggie containing a crystalline substance consistent with meth. Police say the total weight of the meth was less than five grams.

Another adjournment in the case of a man committed to stand trial, on charges stemming from a June 2017 drug and weapons bust on the George Gordon’s First Nation.
29-year-old Cody Gordon faces one count of Trafficking a Controlled Substance, and his next appearance, in Regina is set for March 5th.
In June of 2017, Mounties raided a home on the reserve, seizing a loaded rifle, knives, over seven-hundred rounds of ammunition, and a small amount of crystal meth.
In January of 2018, his co-accused, 27-year-old Hubert McNab, admitted to Unsafe Storage of a Firearm, and received one year of probation.

Public Drunkenness – A 28 year old Swatara Twp. man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on Jan. 21, 2021 at 4:30 a.m. at Lehman St. and Cherry St.
Drug Possession – A 35 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Jan. 16, 2021 at 6:04 p.m. on the 1,000 block of Willow St.
Bond has been amended for two area men facing drug-related felony charges in Carroll County, following the execution of a search warrant that revealed numerous drug-related items.
According to a probable-cause statement, 42-year-old Alando Harker, of Carrollton, and 43-year-old Timothy Adam Stanley, of Sumner, were present during the execution of the search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of West Lincoln Avenue in Carrollton on Thursday, January 21..
Authorities say they found a glass smoking pipe; a homemade water bong; a glass marijuana pipe; some controlled pills; crystal shards which tested positive for methamphetamine; hypodermic syringes; a digital scale; two cell phones- one of which contained messages pertaining to the sale of narcotics and had Harker’s Facebook account signed in; and several other drug-related items.
