Colorado Man Indicted on Meth Trafficking and Gun Charges in central South Dakota

Pierre, SD, USA / DRGNews Dec 18, 2020 6:32 AM A 49 year old man from Boulder, Colorado, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges related to possession and distribution in central South Dakota. James Rutledge pled not guilty to Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person charges. The Indictment alleges that beginning at a time unknown, but no later than March 2020 and continuing to about November 2020, Rutledge did knowingly conspire with other people to possess and distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine in central South Dakota. Further, in August 2020, Rutledge did knowingly possess with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. Then being an unlawful user of a controlled substance, he did knowingly possess a handgun, which had been shipped and transported in interstate commerce and foreign commerce.

Four Sentenced in District Court

In recent court proceedings in Brown/Mills County District Court, District Attorney, Micheal Murray presented the following cases before Judge Stephen Ellis. Jarred Williams, on probation for the felony offense of Deadly Conduct, was adjudicated and sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Star Rahmir Rivers, on probation for the felony offense of Evading Arrest was revoked and sentenced to Two (2) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Shaun Michael Reutter, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Twelve (12) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

SENTENCING, PROBATION REVOCATION HEARINGS SET FOR TODAY

Indiana, PA / WDAD AM1450 & 100.3FM Dec 18, 2020 7:20 AM A woman from Delaware County in PA will be in court today for several hearings. 28-year-old Jacie Nicole Long, who was originally listed as being from Indiana, but was also listed as being from Philadelphia, Darby and Collingdale, will go before Indiana County President Judge William Martin for two sentencing hearings and five probation revocation hearings.  All of the cases are drug-related.  The probation cases go back to 2014, while the sentencing hearings are for incidents in 2017.  Long was one of 26 people caught in a county-wide drug sweep of suspected mid-level drug dealers last February.

Crayton Pleads Guilty to Possession

Crayton also pled guilty to Count 1 “Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance (Marijuana) with Intent to Deliver,” a class D felony, stemming from an investigation by the Forest City Police Department on April 9, 2020.  Crayton is scheduled to be sentenced on February 9, 2021.
