STEVEN BITTIKER II FACING RESISTING ARREST CHARGES IN CARROLL COUNTY

A 50-year-old Carrollton man is facing a felony for allegedly attempting to allude law enforcement on Friday, April 30. According to a report from the Carrollton Police Department at approximately 4:30 p.m. on April 30, an officer observed a vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle that had eluded Officers earlier in the week. When the officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop of the vehicle, the driver accelerated and refused to stop. The officer reports that the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed while she was pursuing him through the Town of Carrollton, failed to stop at stop signs and struck an AT&T phone box causing property damage.

TWO CARROLLTON RESIDENTS ARE FACING DRUG CHARGES IN CARROLL COUNTY

According to a probable cause statement, authorities seized controlled pills; methamphetamine and numerous drug paraphernalia items. Court document say 42-year-old Alando Harker, of Carrollton and 43-year-old Timothy Adam Stanley are each charged with three counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and a drug related misdemeanor. Each defendant pleaded not guilty during their arraignment on January 28. Harker posted $5,000 surety bond on February 5. A Warrant was filed for Stanley’s arrest after reportedly failed to appear at a scheduled court proceeding on April 7. Bond for Stanley has been set at $5,000 cash only. A bond review hearing for Stanley is scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 5.

Tuesday, April 27, 2021 Neal Hagler Neal Scott Hagler, the Berryville man who pleaded guilty to negligent homicide in connection with a fatal 2018 accident, was taken into custody Monday — more than 10 months after a judge ordered his arrest for allegedly violating his probation. Hagler, 22, was booked into the Carroll County Detention Center at 9:30 a.m. Monday, according to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, which listed the arresting agency as the Arkansas Department of Probation and Parole. No further details regarding the arrest were available. Hagler’s bond is set at $75,000 and he is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. Monday, June 7, in Carroll County Circuit Court in Berryville.

Defendants in the lawsuit are Eureka Springs mayor Butch Berry; his administrative assistant Kim Stryker; CAPC commissioners Patrick Burnett, Jeff Carter, James DeVito, Melissa Greene, Harry Meyer and Carol Wright; and two insurance companies that provide policies to the city. The suit names the city officials as defendants in both individual and official capacities.
