(WTVA) - Clay County deputies arrested two suspects connected to burglaries that happened on Feb. 20 close to the Point Harbor area. Investigators charged Edward Malone, 36, with burglary. Meanwhile, they charged Melissa Ford, 32, with accessory before the fact. According to deputies, some items are still missing, including two guns and several chainsaws. Malone and Ford are currently at the Clay County Detention Center with preliminary hearings set for Feb. 25 at the Clay County Justice Court.

Chris Edwards made an arrest while investigating a complaint that a man had provided marijuana to 2 juveniles ages 12 and 15 on two separate occasions. Allegedly 20-year-old Cameron Vanhook had picked the juveniles up from the home of the 12-year-old without the knowledge or permission of the parents of either child. Vanhook was arrested and charged with four counts of unlawful transaction with a minor – second-degree. He was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center. Assisting on the investigation was Sheriff John Root, Detective Taylor McDaniel and Detective Robert Reed.

London, KY, USA / SAM 103.9 FM WWEL | Today s Pop Hits Jan 25, 2021 11:58 AM Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson says Deputy Coty Arnold was called out to Otter Creek Road where an intoxicated woman was reportedly in the middle of the road refusing to let people by. Deputy Arnold arrived to find 45-year-old Tammy Hubbard there and determined she was under the influence. She admitted to taking meth earlier in the day. During her arrest Hubbard became aggressive, but was quickly taken into custody. She was charged with public intoxication, menacing and resting arrest. Hubbard was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
