STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. The coronavirus (COVID-19) is believed to have claimed the lives of four more borough residents, while just over 200 new confirmed cases of the disease were added to Staten Island’s total, city Health Department data shows.
At the same, coronavirus hospitalizations here dropped, for the second time in three days, to its lowest count this year.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. The borough’s suspected coronavirus (COVID-19) death total rose by one, as the city Health Department has added over 160 new confirmed cases of the disease to Staten Island’s tally.
At the same time, the number of coronavirus hospitalizations here did not change, remaining at its lowest level this year.
As of 1 p.m. Wednesday, 1,760 Staten Islanders are believed to have died from complications related to the coronavirus.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Since the beginning of the month, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has claimed the lives of 47 borough residents, while nearly 3,400 confirmed cases of the disease were added to Staten Island’s total, city Health Department data shows.
And while those numbers rose, coronavirus hospitalizations here have dropped sharply from the count on April 1.
