LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - The Weber Health Logistics group opened a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the old Century Link building on Monday.
The healthcare company was approved and partnered with Mayo Clinic, Gundersen Health System and the La Crosse County Health Department to help vaccinate as many people as possible. It s very important because there are thousands of people that need to be vaccinated over the next few months, Weber Health Logistics nurse manager Terri Boardman said. Mayo and Gundersen are vaccinating hundreds of people every day but they need our assistance and so they ve readily said that they want us to be a part of the partnership.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) COVID-19 numbers have improved in several areas, including the fact that new cases dropped to 286 cases this week, down from 419 the previous reporting period, according to the Coulee COVID-19 Collaborative.
The collaborative reported Wednesday that three more people died of COVID-19, but the new daily case rate has decreased to 34.6 cases per 100,000.
“This is a welcome reduction, but is still above the high threshold of 25 cases per 100,000,” the collaborative’s weekly report said. “Percent positive rate also decreased to 25.1% or about one in four tested resulting as positive.”
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Mayo Clinic Health System says they are seeing a high number of calls asking about the COVID-19 vaccine. Both Mayo and Gundersen Health Systems will contact patients either through their online account or through a letter letting them know when they are eligible to schedule an appointment to get the vaccine. “I would just encourage.
