By Jim Measel Jul 17, 2021 | 11:43 PM COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Children’s Museum of Branch County is hoping to raise $15,000 over the next several weeks starting on Monday. The museum has partnered with the USA Today Network, in a Community Thrives Challenge sponsored by the Gannett Foundation in a four week nationwide fundraising campaign aimed at raising funds for exhibit expansions. The challenge ends Friday, August 13.  The goal of raising $15,000 includes a dollar for dollar matching grant for the first $4,000 raised.  “We are very excited to be participating in this fundraiser again this year.  Last year we raised over $9,500 for exhibit expansions at the Museum,” said Kayla Gray, President of the CMBC.
