Sallah: Security personnel deployed in states

The state Commissioner of Police, Phillip Aliyu Ogbadu, disclosed this in a statement signed by the command’s spokesman, SP Kongtons Bello, and made available to journalists in Benin yesterday. The commissioner also disclosed that traffic personnel have been deployed across the state to ensure free flow of traffic especially in Benin City. According to him, the command has put in place adequate security measures in ensuring the security of lives and property of our Muslims and the general public during and after the celebration. Ogbadu said the command will collaborate with other sister security agencies to ensure that the celebration is hitch-free.

Eld-El-Fitri: Avoid reckless, dangerous driving – FRSC urges motorists in Osun Published The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Osun State has appealed to motorists to do away with any form of reckless and dangerous driving that could lead to loss of lives and properties during and after the Salah celebrations. The Osun State Sector Commander, CC Kudirat Ibrahim gave the advice in a statement signed by the command’s spokesperson, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi in Osogbo. Ibrahim said, “The command has deployed some officers of the command to all nook and cranny of the state, to help ensure easy traffic flows, and also to caution motorists against dangerous driving.
