A felony drug case on the inactive docket at the Cambridge Municipal Court for more than two years has been bound over to the Guernsey County Common Pleas Court after the suspect waived her right to a preliminary hearing.
Pearl E. Jones, 47, Cincinnati, faces one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for an alleged offense on Nov. 19, 2018.
The case has been pending in the municipal court since the State Highway Patrol filed the initial charge on Feb. 5, 2019, and a warrant was issued for Jones arrest.
Jones is free on a personal recognizance bond.
According to online court records, the original charge against Jones was amended by the highway patrol on May 22 and a new warrant was issued.

Preliminary hearings have been scheduled for three men facing felony drug charges following a pair of unrelated traffic stops recently in Guernsey County.
A trial date for a fourth suspect facing a weapons charge was also scheduled during the arraignment hearings in the Cambridge Municipal Court.
Leontae Brooks, 19, Columbus, and Odonshae Turner, 21, Garfield Heights, are slated to appear for preliminary hearings on March 4 while Lorenzo Williams, 23, Cambridge, is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on March 5.
Meanwhile, a trial date for Aaron Nathan, 22, Cleveland, was scheduled for March 8 in the municipal court. He faces one count of carrying a concealed weapon, a first-degree misdemeanor.

The hunt for a man accused of abandoning 11 dogs in horrible living conditions at a Franklin Avenue home in Cambridge ended Thursday at a local hotel.
Guernsey County sheriff s deputies arrested Gregory Graham Sr., 46, Cambridge, on six counts of prohibition of companion animals and three counts of abandoning animals. Tips from citizens led us to the hotel where we were able to take him into custody, said Sheriff s Major Jeremy Wilkinson.
Graham was booked into the Guernsey County Jail following his arrest.
During an arraignment hearing in the Cambridge Municipal Court, Graham was granted a personal recognizance bond with special conditions including orders not to own or possess animals.
