FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Two men have been charged in a 2019 double shooting in Palm Coast that left a 25-year-old man dead, Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly announced Friday.
He called the attack a “targeted hit” but declined to provide further details about a possible motive, saying he didn’t want to interfere with the grand jury proceedings.
Deon O’Neal Jenkins and another man were shot about 3:30 a.m. Oct. 12, 2019, while sitting in a car at the Circle K Gas Station at Belle Terre Boulevard and Palm Coast Parkway.

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. Two men have been arrested for murder following an investigation that the Flagler County Sheriff s Office has called one of its lengthiest and most extensive in the department s history.
Marcus Avery Chandler, 23, and Darius Braxton Fowler, 23, have been taken into custody on murder charges following a 2019 shooting at a Circle K in Palm Coast.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and FCSO SWAT team executed a narcotics search warrant on Big Bear Lane in Palm Coast early Tuesday morning, Jan. 5, arresting 34-year-old Michael Tyrone Jackson on multiple charges.
“I’d like to thank the community for reporting the drug activity occurring at this residence, and our drug agents and SWAT team for their outstanding work,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “This is Jackson’s first run in with the FCSO and I hope, for his sake, that it is his last. If you want to sell illegal drugs in Flagler County, our deputies will find you, and we will bring you to jail.”
When it comes to doing outreach with local kids, Cpl. Robert Tarczewski s partner makes things easy: A member of the Flagler County Sheriff s Office s K-9 unit, Tarczewski is paired with Odin, a 3-year-old German shepherd. Not only does Cpl. Tarczewski do a great job in serving the community, but he has also taken on the added task of training our newest K-9 team, Deputy Towns and K-9 Keanu. He is a fantastic K-9 handler and trainer, and we are glad to have him on our team.”

As soon as the dog comes out, it s like a magnet: Everybody walks in, kids are smiling, they’re telling me about their dog. . It’s something that we have in common, a love for dogs and pets.
An armed carjacking suspect fleeing from law enforcement collided with another vehicle on Interstate 95 in Daytona Beach on Tuesday night, hitting a car carrying four people and killing a brother and sister from Wisconsin in the head-on, wrong-way crash, authorities said.
The carjacking suspect also died in the crash. He was heading south on Interstate 95, driving without lights on a 2017 Nissan Altima. The unidentified suspect made a U-turn and started driving north in the southbound lanes.
The accident closed the southbound lanes of the interstate around 7 p.m. in the area of Exit 260A, which is the Beville Road/Interstate 4 interchange, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
