Man attacked woman and kicked her in the head in Southampton

Everton Fyffe beat a woman to the ground, stamped on her and kicked her in the head, a court heard. The 54-year-old then took out a Stanley knife and put it to her throat. He went on to attack two other women on separate occasions, hitting one of them around the head with his bicycle. Barrister, Charles Gabb, said that the Crown Prosecution Service was trying to protect people – women in particular – from his predations.

Jeremy Blake Simmons told his vulnerable 19-year-old victim he had a gun and even threatened to kill her. Just moments before he had run up behind her in Leigh Road, Eastleigh. Simmons, 20, punched her then kicked her to stop her screaming. Prosecution barrister, Christopher Wing, said how the woman was left feeling anxious, depressed and suffering nightmares following the attack in Leigh Road Recreation Ground.

Flasher left women badly frightened in Fordingbridge

A SEX offender flashed two women walking their dogs in a Hampshire country lane. Robert Oakley exposed himself to two women out walking their dogs on separate occasions, a court heard. The 51-year-old, of Lyons Street, Southampton, followed his victims before pleasuring himself in front of them in Frog Lane, Fordingbridge. Both were left “badly frightened”. Robert Oakley outside Southampton Crown Court on May 11, 2021 Oakley still denies two charges of indecent exposure he was accused of, however, following a three day trial at Southampton Crown Court, he was found guilty. Prosecuting, Siobhan Linsley said the offences were aggravated by his antecedence.

Robert Wayne Oakley jailed after exposing himself to women

Robert Wayne Oakley, of Lyon Street, Southampton, was found guilty of two counts of indecent exposure. The incidents happened in January last year in close proximity to Frog Lane, Fordingbridge. On Monday, April 12 a jury heard how Oakley had been seen to expose his genitals to women as they walked alone in the semi-rural location. Oakley was found guilty of these offences after a three-day day trial at Southampton Crown Court. He was sentenced to six months in prison today (Tuesday, May 11). The defendant was also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for seven years and handed a five year restraining order.

Southampton flasher left women badly frightened

“They were alone and where no one was around, and they were therefore vulnerable.” For the offences which happened on January 25 and 28 last year, he was jailed for six months and made the subject of a five-year restraining order against one of his victims. He must sign on as a sex offender for seven years. Commenting on an earlier occasion, PC Sarah Taylor said: “We would like to thank those women who came forward and told us what happened to them. Being subjected to something like this can be very distressing and shocking, sometimes leaving a victim unsure of what to do or how to report this kind of thing to us. We absolutely want to receive your call and bring offenders like Oakley to justice. If it’s happening now, always call 999. These incidents rightly concerned the community in Fordingbridge at the time and we’re pleased to be able to say now that we were able to put a stop to this, with the community’s help.”
