The Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division is notifying the public that the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has identified a case of COVID-19 in Kinistino Public School.
According to a media release, students in Grade 9 and 10 classrooms and connected staff will be self-isolating until a date set by the SHA. The news was shared with the classrooms involved and the school community but there is no evidence the case was picked up or transmitted at school.
In-person learning will continue for the rest of the school while the involved cohorts learn from home. For privacy reasons the division will not be sharding anymore details.

According to a media release, students in the Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2 and involved staff will have to self-isolate until May 18.
In-person learning will continue for the rest of the school and there is no evidence the individual was exposed at school.
It has been shared with the classrooms and cohorts involved and they will transition to remote learning until they no longer need to self-isolate. Due to privacy concerns they will not offer further details.

In a media release, it said there is no evidence that the case was acquired or transmitted at school and in-person learning will safely continue for the rest of the school.
The school division was informed of positive COVID-19 test results and communication is being shared with the classrooms/cohorts, the connected staff, as well as with the school community.
A case of COVID-19 has been identified in Arthur Pechey Public School by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
The active case means that two Grade 8 classrooms and associated staff will be self-isolating until a date to be determined by public health.
There is no evidence that the case was acquired or transmitted at school and in person learning will continue for the rest of the school.
Privacy concerns prevent sharing of further details of the case. A press release from the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division Director of Education, Robert Bratvold, said schools remain safe places to learn. Both the Local Medical Health Officer and the provincial Chief Medical Health officer continue to indicate that because of the protocols in place, schools are safe and are not significant source of transmission.
