Apple Valley man accused of attempting to kidnap young girl at Civic Center Park Victorville Daily Press Authorities arrested an Apple Valley man after they said he attempted to touch two girls, grabbed a 9-year-old girl at a park before letting her go. Jose Abel Orellana, 60, was booked on suspicion of kidnapping and is being held in county jail in lieu of $250,000 bail, records show. A deputy responded to Civic Center Park in Apple Valley at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a “subject attempting to touch two female juveniles,” the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.
