Anderes Fourdy branches out to Singapore Malaysian based PCO Anderes Fourdy Events has established a Singapore branch following an agreement with The Travellers DMC (TTDMC) in Singapore. “We’ve always been looking at Singapore. It has always been one of the top 10 BE destinations in the world. Our partner, The Travellers DMC was eager to pivot and we are eager to duplicate our success in Malaysia,” said Anderes Fourdy (pictured) co-founder, Mr Fu Kei Cheong, CMP (KC) said. “The Covid-19 pandemic was a catalyst. It jolted us sufficiently to relook at our plans and hasten our resolve,” said Yvonne Low, executive director of TTDMC.

Vincentian Isaac Solomon has been appointed as Vice President- Operations of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) st, 2021.  The Caribbean Development Bank is a regional financial institution, which was established by an Agreement signed on October 18, 1969, in Kingston, Jamaica, and entered into force on January 26, 1970.  Mr. Solomon, who is set to become the highest ranked Vincentian national for all times at the bank has had a distinguished career as a Public Servant and Resident Representative at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.  He leaves his post as Managing Director for RBC’s operations in the Eastern Caribbean to take up this new post.

Nevada City Lions take part in hunger project

Submitted by Dough Wight Nevada City Lions Club will be participating in the “California Lions Project Care: Hunger,” a statewide Lions Clubs service project to be conducted during the month of February. The club will be collecting non-perishable food items for distribution to Interfaith Food Ministry, located at 440 Henderson Street in Grass Valley. The purpose of the California Lions Project Care: Hunger is to engage all California Lions Clubs of all sizes in a statewide community service program that is of such vital importance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevada City Lions Club will be collecting non-perishable food items from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 28 in front of the main entrance of SPD Market, Nevada City. All state and local COVID-19 health measures will be followed while the food collection is occurring.
