Sydney outbreak a ‘whole new ballgame’ with four unlinked cases: Lambie 24/06/2021|4min
Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie says Sydney’s COVID-19 outbreak is a “whole new ballgame” since there are now four unlinked cases which are under investigation.
On Wednesday Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced a range of restrictions across Greater Sydney in a bid to prevent a lockdown after the Bondi cluster grew to 31 cases.
“I’m terribly worried,” Ms Lambie said.
“You’ve now got four cases where you don’t know where they’ve got it from.
“She’s a whole new ballgame this morning”.

“It would be nice if the rest of the world were backing us and standing in the same circle that we are because I think that’s the only way you’re going to slow down China at this point in time.”
Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie says South Australian Chief Health Officer Dr Nicola Spurrier’s advice to duck and not touch the ball at an AFL match is dubious.
“Just let it hit you in the head, knock yourself out, I’m sure that’ll make the front pages,” she told Sky News.
