UPDATE: A man and a woman driving a ute and a sedan that collided head-on near a corner of the Kenilworth Skyring Creek Road south of Gympie at Tuchekoi on Tuesday afternoon have been rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The woman, who had to be freed from her car by emergency services, was critically injured in the collision which occurred just before 3pm.
She was airlifted from the scene about 4pm and taken to the SCUH. A man in his 30s suffering from a leg injury was transported by ambulance and in a stable condition, also to the SCUH.
The crash near Tuchekoi on Tuesday afternoon that left a woman critically injured is now being investigated by the Forensic Crash Unit. Police are asking witnesses to come forward with any information.
On the fifth day out of hospital, Bryan told me he felt drugged, unsteady, and foggy, but I just thought this was a common side effect after surgery, Mrs Carvill said. Bryan and Maxeen Carvill take in the AFL action last year before his health worries turned his life upside down. Bryan started suffering from severe migraines after the procedure and he described them as being the worst pain he s ever been in, she said. Mr Carvill was admitted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital between August last year and April this year with doctors struggling to diagnose his condition as his wife became stressed by constant trips to support him in hospital.
Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash at Tuchekoi this afternoon. Preliminary investigations indicate around 2:50pm a white Nissan.
