UPDATE 12.10PM: A teenage boy was rushed to hospital in a serious but stable condition after an incident at a public pool at Bokarina. Management at the Kawana Aquatic Centre said the incident occurred at their pool during a fully supervised program about 11am. Facility manager Paul Sheen said the teenage boy was believed to have suffered from a medical condition. He received immediate attention but we did call the ambulance for the young fella, Mr Sheen said. It was more of a precautionary thing that he was taken to hospital. He was sprightly and communicating with everyone.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said emergency services were called to Sunbird Chase about 1pm. She said paramedics took the woman, believed to be aged in her 30s, to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition. She was walking around when they arrived and there were no injuries confirmed, she said. In a separate incident on Saturday night, a man was taken to Nambour Hospital after a single vehicle crash at Noosa.
