CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) - The Chesterfield Health District is offering walkup COVID-19 vaccines to anyone 16 and older at the Community Vaccination Clinic at Virginia State University.
“Now is the time to stop in and get a vaccine with little or no wait,” said Dr. Alexander Samuel, director of CHD. “You can hit the clinic on the way to or from work. Currently, we can provide both first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine to anyone aged 16 and older.”

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) - The Chesterfield Health District is encouraging residents to use the VaccineFinder website to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
The website has a searchable map that allows people to find appointments close to them.
Anyone who has pre-registered on the Virginia Department of Health website and still hasn’t received an appointment should use the VaccineFinder site to schedule an appointment.
VDH clinics, pharmacies and doctor’s offices will be listed on the website.

RICHMOND, Va. As Virginia gets closer to herd immunity, signing up for the COVID-19 vaccine in Richmond and Henrico just got easier. We re really excited about this change, Amy Popovich, a nurse manager with the Richmond and Henrico Health Districts said. This means that the vaccine is accessible for anyone over the age of 16.
Popovich said that the two health districts have gotten rid of pre-registration for vaccination clinics, something that is possible after everyone on their pre-registration list is contacted at least once.

RICHMOND, Va. Some people who have been waiting months for a COVID-19 vaccine are now eligible and eager for a return to normalcy.
The Richmond and Henrico Health District, the Chesterfield Health District and the Chickahominy Health District announced Friday they will start scheduling Phase 2 eligible people for their COVID-19 vaccine appointments for as soon as next week. That means vaccines will be open to people in metro Richmond 16 and over who want one.
