Collucci on June 8, 2020 when the father of a former student at Dill’s Driving School contacted them to say his daughter had been assaulted, an affidavit of probable cause states. A week later, investigators interviewed the woman, who by then was 19. She told detectives that Collucci placed his hand on her inner thigh in June 2017 as they drove through Bridgewater. Collucci allegedly told the then 16-year-old girl who was wearing shorts to driver faster whenever he squeezed. Collucci did the same thing when the girl wore leggings to her next lesson, according to court papers.

Fifty-nine-year-old Steven Collucci of Dill’s Driving School was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal sexual contact and lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a bail detention hearing, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office announced. In June 2020 a student, 16, reported to the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office that they were touched in a sexual manner by Collucci. The accuser said that while driving in the area of Bridgewater and Hillsborough in June 2017 during an instruction session, they were touched in a sexual manner by Collucci.
