An earthquake of magnitude 3.3 occurred only 8 minutes ago 22 km northeast of Caen, France, France s Réseau National de Surveillance Sismique (RéNaSS) reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter near Caen, Calvados, Normandy, France, late at night on Saturday 29 May 2021 at 10:04 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.

An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred only 26 minutes ago 17 km southeast of Gisenyi, Rwanda, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 13 km beneath the epicenter near Gisenyi, Western Province, Rwanda, early morning on Thursday 27 May 2021 at 1:19 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
