Today the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team will face off against the Duke Blue Devils. This article breaks down how the Blue Devils have been a thorn in the side for the Yellow Jackets. Duke has won 38 of the last 41 games and the current win streak is at 14 as the article points out. For Tech seniors Jose Alvarado and Moses Wright, tonight’s game will be their last chance at beating Duke in the regular season. The night will be a special occasion for seniors like Alvarado and Wright as they and other seniors will receive recognition for their contributions to the program over the years. It would be even more special if they could finish the night with a victory against Duke. A win would also go a long way in dispelling any beliefs that this team isn’t ready or deserving for a chance to be in the NCAA tournament.
Crosby Huckabay were the two Jackets that landed in the hit column.
Georgia Tech used four arms through the contest in senior right hander
Morgan Bruce (starter), senior lefty
Madison McPherson, fellow senior lefty
Naomi Dickerson and junior right hander
Lexi Ray.

Tech finished the regular season on Sunday, defeating Pitt, 65-60, on Senior Day behind a combined 43 points from Lotta-Maj Lahtinen and Kierra Fletcher. Lorela Cubaj secured a game-high 17 rebounds as the Jackets capped the regular season at 14-7 overall and 12-6 in league play. Tech’s 12 ACC wins tied the highest-ever in program history, while its third place finish in the conference standings marked the highest regular-season outright finish.
RALEIGH, N.C. – In an Atlantic Coastal Conference Opening Weekend statement, No. 15 Georgia Tech outscored No. 8 NC State 25-9 on the weekend, including a 8-4 win on Sunday on Doak Field at Dail Park, to improve to 3-0 in ACC play.
The Yellow Jackets (6-1, 3-0 ACC) also captured their first sweep of an ACC opponent on the road since 2011 as the Wolfpack dropped to 2-4 and 0-3 in the league.
