HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - A Surfside Beach man crashed a stolen vehicle Thursday before carjacking a woman who stopped to render aid, according to arrest warrants.
Before the alleged carjacking, 22-year-old Joseph Thompson Marshall stole a 2013 Mercedes-Benz C250 from a home on Montclair Drive, authorities said.
The victim told Marshall he was not allowed to use the vehicle and had “gone as far as to hide the keys to avoid it being taken,” according to arrest warrants.

CHESTER, PA A Delaware County murder suspect has been taken into custody in South Carolina recently, according to authorities.
The Delaware County District Attorney s Office and the City of Chester Police Department announced the arrest of Nasir Frisby, 42, of Chester, in connection with the July 28, 2020, homicide at the Candlewood Suites, at 351 Welsh St. in Chester.
Firsby was arrested on Jan. 26 by the Conway Police Department in South Carolina. He is being housed at the J. ReubenLong Detention Center located in Hoory County, South Carolina.

CHESTER, Pa - A man wanted in connection with a murder in Chester has been arrested in South Carolina, according to authorities.
Police were called to the Candlewood Suites on the 300 block of Welsh Street in July 2020.
They found the victim, Charles Bryant, 36, lying face down on the floor of the lobby in front of the main entrance shot in the chest. Bryant died at the scene.
Authorities say Nasir Frisby, 42, was identified as the suspect. A warrant relating to homicide charges was issued for his arrest.

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) â A Socastee man said he was joking when he passed a note to a store employee in Garden City, which stated he had a gun and was going to rob the place, according to arrest warrants.
Spencer Allen Boros, 20, is charged with armed robbery.
Police were called Sunday to 901 Garden City Connector for reports of an armed robbery, a report from Horry County police stated.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach police announced they have taken a second person into custody in connection to a shooting at a Myrtle Beach hotel.
The shooting happened Thursday at the Motel 6 on Frontage Road East, off Highway 501.
Officers said 35-year-old Jason Jones of Staten Island, NY was hurt in the shooting, taken to the hospital and released. Since then, Jones has been charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
