MADISON (WKOW) Authorities have identified the body found in the town of Burke as that of a woman who had been reported missing the day earlier.
Eileen Brown, 59, from Baltimore, was reported missing Thursday, and herbody was found the next dayin the 5500 block of Portage Road.
The Dane County Medical Examiner s Office identified the body in a press release sent Monday.
Authorities did not list what caused Brown s death. A forensic autopsy was completed at the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office on 04-25-2021, the press release said. Preliminary results from that autopsy are pending further study and investigation.

Officials identify 19-year-old killed in McFarland car vs. house crash

MCFARLAND, Wis. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the name of the 19-year-old who died after crashing into a McFarland home Tuesday night.
Officials said the incident happened at about 10:30 p.m. on the 5400 block of Siggelkow Road following an attempted traffic stop.
The driver refused to stop while on Highway 51 and instead exited onto Siggelkow Road, according to authorities. Officials ended the chase and later found the vehicle had crashed into a house after accelerating past police.
Cam-Ron P. Poelinitz, of Fitchburg, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Four other people inside the car were all brought to a hospital. Six people were also inside the home during the crash but none were hurt, officials said.

MCFARLAND, Wis. The driver of a vehicle that crashed into a McFarland home Tuesday night has died, and The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating the events surrounding the crash.
DOJ officials announced Wednesday afternoon they are investigating the crash at the request of the McFarland Police Department.
According to authorities, the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday following an attempted traffic stop on Highway 51.
Officials said the vehicle did not stop and instead exited the highway onto Siggelkow Road, ignoring the stop sign at the bottom of the exit ramp before driving east onto Siggelkow Road. The officer, who had their emergency lights on, ended the pursuit.
