Creenan: Death reached us all in different ways this year

Creenan: Death reached us all in different ways this year FacebookTwitterEmail Robert Creenan (Tribune File Photo) A few months ago, I wrote a column about one of my neighbors had fallen down the stars and I tried to help him back up before an ambulance had to come to take him to a hospital. From what I was told, that man did not die as a direct result from the fall, though there must have been some internal bleeding. He went to Lapeer County for treatment, but he eventually died after falling into a coma. I was also told whatever family he had was not that particularly close to him, but I eventually saw someone seeing if his truck was still working in the parking lot, whom I could only assume was a relative.
