Ramazan bazaars to convert into Eid bazaars

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister (SACM) of Punjab on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday said the existing Ramazan bazaars set up across the province would be transformed into Eid bazaars by ensuring availability of items used on the occasion of Eidul-Fitr at subsidised rates.
Speaking to the media during her visit to the Ramzan sasta bazaar established at Haidri Chowk, the SACM said that the timing of the bazaars would be increased in order to provide maximum relief to the residents of the province.

The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister (SACM) on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led government was striving to ensure the rule of law. Speaking to the media in Governor House on Sunday, she added, “Pakistan is on the red list because of coronavirus situation and ordinary Pakistanis cannot enter the UK. However, the accused were thinking of celebrating Eid in London.” She said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was striving hard to bring the strong and the weak equally before the law as no one is above the law.

RAWALPINDI: After Eid-ul-Fitr, the government is going to launch investigations against poultry, ghee/cooking oil and other sectors related to eatable items to note why they have increased prices. LAHORE: Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Thursday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was present on the occasion. Firdous apprised the prime minister of the performance of Sahult Bazaars and ongoing projects of public welfare. She informed the prime minister about the problems being faced by people and availability of edibles in Ramazan Bazaars. The prime minister said effective measures should be taken for providing maximum relief to people. He directed monitoring the prices of edibles and establishing a digital directorate in the Information Department.
