BAHAWALPUR: A pack of dogs killed a minor boy and wounded two others in the suburbs of Chanigoth of tehsil Ahmedpur East on Monday. According to the police and hospital sources, Areeb (10), the son of a labourer, along with other children was playing near his house at Basti Chak Kahal of Chanigoth town. Suddenly, the boys were attacked by a pack of dogs, which wounded three of them. Areeb, who had suffered critical wounds, was first taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Ahmedpur East, where the doctors sent him to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH). The boy succumbed to his wounds there.

Teenager killed while re-enacting drama scene - Newspaper

SHANGLA: Re-enactment of the popular Turkish drama, Ertugrul, allegedly caused death of a teenage boy in Chakesar tehsil of Shangla on Sunday. Additional station house officer Fazal Hadi told Dawn on telephone that 14-year-old Qudratullah was re-enacting a scene from the drama near his house by tying a rope around his neck, which apparently caused his death. The police shifted the body to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Chakesar, for autopsy. He claimed the boy had been re-enacting scenes of the drama and posting them on social media. The police officer said they had registered a case of suicide and launched investigation.

The family, belonging to Luddan, was going to Lahore via Burewala in a car. When they reached near Chak 463-EB, the car collided with a truck, coming from the opposite direction. As result, all the eight car riders were killed on the spot. They were identified as Jahangir (40), his three children seven-month-old Ali, Ahmed (4) and Maria (2) Sobia (30), Billo (35), Mehwish (26) and Shehryar (30). The Rescue 1122 shifted the bodies to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Burewala, and they were later handed over to the family after autopsy. According to Abdul Jabbar, an official of the Rescue 1122, the accident occurred due to speeding. The car had to be cut to get the bodies out.
