Less than seven days after impressing the world with her beautiful poem at Joe Biden’s inauguration, she has now signed with IMG models. The international modelling agency has its headquarters in New York, but also has offices in London, Los Angeles, Milan, Paris and Sydney.

USA TODAY The 22-year-old Harvard graduate and National Youth Poet Laureate has plenty up her sleeve, from a Time magazine cover conversation with former first lady Michelle Obama and books slated to hit stores later this year, to talk show appearances and future political aspirations. At the inauguration on Jan. 20, she read an original poem titled The Hill We Climb, calling for unity and healing as the U.S. ushered in its 46th president, Joe Biden.  We’ve seen a force that would shatter our nation rather than share it / Would destroy our country if it meant delaying democracy / And this effort very nearly succeeded / But while democracy can be periodically delayed / It can never be permanently defeated, she read.
