ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on will visit Gilgit Baltistan April 12 (Monday).
Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms and Special Initiatives Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Ameen Khan Gandapur and Federal Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Aminul Haque will accompany the prime minister.
PM Imran Khan s day-long visit to Gilgit-Baltistan had been postponed due to unsuitable weather conditions on April 5 and will now visit on April 12 where he will attend the main function to be held at the Chief Minister s Secretariat.

Minister for Information Technology & Telecommunication Syed Amin-ul-Haque has said digitalization is the topmost priority of the Government and his ministry has already taken steps to realize the vision of digital Pakistan.
Chairing 11th meeting of Prime Minister s Taskforce on IT & Telecom, the minister also emphasised the need of providing better incentives to IT Industry and resolving the issues of IT companies.
Earlier, members of the PM’s Taskforce on IT & Telecom expressed satisfaction on the performance of Ministry of IT & Telecom especially towards achieving the targets regarding digitalization.

Virtual University to facilitate ICAP for Chartered Accountancy Examination

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) and the Institute of Chartered Accountancy of Pakistan (ICAP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Ministry of IT & Telecom in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The Chief Guest of the Ceremony was the Federal Secretary at the Ministry for Information Technology and Telecommunications (MoITT) Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui.
The Controller Examination VU Dr. Faisal Tehseen Shah and the Secretary ICAP Syed Masood Akhtar signed the MoU.
At the MoU signing ceremony, the Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque sent his congratulation message to Rector Virtual University on achieving yet another milestone.
