SRINAGAR: The Government on Sunday informed that 182 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 103 from Jammu division and 79 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 121653. Also 01 COVID-19 death has been reported from Jammu Division.
Moreover, 205 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 95 from Jammu Division and 110 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 121653 positive cases, 2975 are Active Positive, 116792 have recovered and 1886 have died; 699 in Jammu division and 1187 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 3916848 test results available, 3795195 samples have been tested as negative till January 3, 2021.

Two days after the killing of well-known jeweller of Srinagar Satpal Nischal at his shop in Saraibala area of Srinagar, political parties, and his family members have sought a probe into the killing.
The 65-year-old jeweller was shot dead by suspected militants on Thursday at the busy Sariabala market in Srinagar. Police sources suspect that Nischal last month had acquired a domicile certificate and it might be a reason behind his killing.
