The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has said it impounded 13 vehicles, 314 bags of imported rice and some other goods, valued at more than N60 million, in Katsina State between July 8 and Aug. 3. x
The Acting Controller of Customs, Katsina State Area Command, Malam Dalha Wada, made this disclosure on Tuesday in Kaduna while briefing newsmen on the achievements of the command.
According to Wada, the command in the period under review intercepted a Lexus Saloon 2011 model with Duty Paid Value (DPV) of N3.6 million, Toyota Corolla 2015 with DPV of more than N7 million.

Chinkango’s body is expected to leave Mthunzi Funeral Parlor Mortuary in Blantyre at 10am
Chinkango died on Thursday morning at Adventist Hospital in Blantyre due to Covid-19.
MBC director general George Kasakula described the late as loyal and friendly to everyone.
âHe was a good man to everyone. He was one of the first crop of employees for then Television Malawi (TVM) and he never left. He was very loyal and everybodyâs friend,â said Kasakula.
Until his death, the veteran broadcaster-cum-musician was Acting Controller of Programmes at MBC TV.
Meanwhile, tributes for the legendary broadcaster are still pouring in with many Malawians describing his death as a big loss to the country.
