From Carlinville to Collinsville, 22 local restaurants are showcasing their Epic Burgers during Epic Burger Week June 14-18 in southwest Illinois.
People can sample a wide variety of burgers throughout the region during the week-long event highlighting some of the tastiest and creative hamburgers available. The Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau of Southwest Illinois is sponsoring the event.
“We know people enjoy coming to southwest Illinois for our delicious destinations,” said Cory Jobe, President/CEO of the Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau. “And we realized we have some really creative restaurants who have taken the traditional hamburger to the next level.

ALTON The Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau of Southwest Illinois on Monday launched “Greatness Around Every Turn,” a new campaign targeting active outdoor lifestyles and living like a local.
“We want to encourage people to hop in the car and head to southwest Illinois where they can experience amazing outdoor fun or just relax and live like a local,” said Cory Jobe, President/CEO of the Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau.
