Easton police charged a 26-year-old woman with felony drug counts after serving a search warrant Friday morning at her West Ward house, according to court records.
Victoria Spears, of the 300 block of North 11th Street, told detectives after the raid that “she used to make a lot of money selling drugs, specifically $10,000 dollars a week, however now she only sells on occasion,” court records say.

A 40-year-old Massachusetts man, driving drunk Wednesday afternoon in Wilson Borough, struck several vehicles and damaged wooden steps on a home before running off and then being held to the ground by two residents until police arrived, court papers say.
Shawn J, Ackerman, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, faces two counts of driving under the influence and 14 vehicular counts, court papers say. He was arraigned early Thursday before District Judge Douglas Schlegel and initially housed in Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail, records show. He did not appear to be in jail on Friday morning.

Ex-NCC staffer sentenced to up to 23 months in prison for child porn

An Allentown man will spend 10-23 months behind bars for possession of child pornography, after he was caught with the images at his job at Northampton Community College.
Alan West, 63, faces four years’ probation following his release and will have to register as a sexual offender for 15 years, the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office said.
Judge Stephen Baratta handed down the sentence Wednesday.
“West was feverishly clicking to close the open windows,” the DA’s office said in a news release announcing West’s sentence.
