New Delhi: UTIs, also known as Urinary tract infections are one of the most common bacterial infections that affect women, and can cause a great deal of discomfort, pain, and health problems. Recent studies have also linked recurrent UTIs with an increased risk of bladder cancer. However, in what can be called a huge breakthrough against the painful infection, scientists have now developed a vaccine that will help prevent UTIs, and we may soon be able to live in a world without the fear of urinary tract infections.
