GLASGOW, Ky. – One person was killed Sunday afternoon in a Barren County collision.
At about 3:40 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 3, Bowling Green was requested by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a fatal collision.
The collision occurred on U.S. 31-E near the intersection of Browning School Road in Barren County.
An unidentified person was driving a Ford Ranger northbound on U.S. 31-E near Browning School Road. The Ford Ranger crossed the center dividing line and entered into oncoming traffic on U.S. 31-E, according to a release from Kentucky State Police.
The truck struck a 2004 Recreational Vehicle, being driven by Samuel Doyle, 46, of Glasgow, that was traveling southbound, according to the release. The operator of the Ford Ranger was pronounced deceased by the Barren County Coroner.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. A Louisville man was arrested Friday after he allegedly shot another man on West Market Street in Shawnee, according to police.
Morris Ivory Crook, also referred to in court records as Crook Morris, admitted to shooting the man in the butt about 4 a.m. Friday at an apartment building in the 3500 block of West Market Street, according to an arrest citation.
The man who was shot was in his 60s and taken to University of Louisville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell said.
Detectives who responded to the reported shooting found Crook, 64, at the scene and spoke with several witnesses, one of whom said Crook approached him after the shooting and admitted that he shot the man.
