Taking Labuan’s vaccination success as an example, he said new infections recorded in the island have dropped to only 26 cases yesterday.
“Two weeks after implementing the health measures and vaccination programme in Labuan, 87 per cent of its population received their first dose, while the remaining 52 per cent were fully vaccinated.
“Today, we can see that new Covid-19 cases in Labuan have decreased,” he told a special press conference here, yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR: Only a few healthcare workers from the Ministry of Health, who had been fully vaccinated, have been infected with the Covid-19 virus under Category Three and Category Four of the disease, with none in Category Five, according to a data from the ministry from Feb 24 to July 14, 2021.

pix), in a Twitter post last night, said the latest data from their periodic testing showed that 3,106 (1.26 per cent) from a total of 245,932 healthcare workers were infected after full vaccination, with only three in Category Three (0.1 per cent) and Category Four (0.1 per cent), respectively.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 16 Only a handful of fully vaccinated healthcare workers from the Ministry of Health (MoH) have been infected with the Covid-19 virus under Category Three and Category Four, with none in Category Five, according to the ministry’s data.
KUALA LUMPUR (July 16): Share prices of rubber glove manufacturers Hartalega Holdings Bhd, Supermax Corp Bhd and Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd erased gains after opening higher today on profit taking as investors continue to weigh Malaysia s record high daily numbers of new Covid-19 cases.
At the time of writing today, Hartalega s share price fell 21 sen or 2.75% to RM7.43, Supermax shed eight sen or 2.29% to RM3.42 while Kossan was nine sen or 2.74% lower at RM3.19. Top Glove Corp Bhd fell three sen or 0.74% to RM4.01.
Earlier at 9am today, Hartalega s share price opened up five sen or 0.65% at RM7.69, Top Glove rose five sen or 1.24% to RM4.09, Kossan added four sen or 1.22% to RM3.32 while Supermax was four sen or 1.14% higher at RM3.54.
