Juan Ixcotoyac-Tiu, 25, of Bloomingdale, allegedly approached an 8-year-old as the child rode a scooter near Leary Avenue and Oak Street in Bloomingdale, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes. “It was further reported that after accosting the child, Mr. Ixcotoya-Tiu then proceeded to prevent the child from fleeing and performed an act of sexual assault upon the child,” Valdes said in a statement.

Stefan Keco, of Clifton, pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree terroristic threats. He faces sentencing on May 28. Baycora received two threatening text messages on Feb. 26, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said in a statement. The texts involved chief’s religion, race and national origin, officials previously said.
